Gorey Depot Manager and Transport Manager

Coming from a farming and mechanical background, I became very interested in the road transport sector at an early age. Since joining Glen Fuels in 2001 I have moved from deliveries and sales into managing the Gorey depot with responsibility for all staff and transport issues. 

As transport manager for the Wexford fleet, I ensure the trucks are maintained to the high standards set out by Glen Fuels, whilst respecting and observing all legislative requirements. This role also means I oversee the routing and scheduling of deliveries to homes, businesses and farms and the Glen Fuels depots are known for our ability to deliver on time across all sectors while rescuing customers during emergencies. 

In my spare time I am committed to St. Aidan's GAA, Clologue National School, Clologue Parish Council, the Island Hunt and Ballinagore Harriers.

I have been working with the Gorey team for more than 13 years and I am often the first point of contact for existing and new customers. I feel privileged to have developed personal relationships with many of our customers, including those I have never met in person.

Often the first point of contact for existing and new customers since 2005, I love speaking to our long-standing and new customers on a regular basis and hearing all their news.

I am passionate about sport especially swimming, soccer and running which I started in 2012. Since then I have completed half, 10m and 10k marathons including the VHI Women's Mini Marathon and the Dublin Race Series. I am treasurer of Father Murphy CSC in Arklow and I also enjoy baking and crochet on my quiet days.

I grew up on a farm, married a Wexford farmer and I can often be found in the milking parlour which means I am a popular point of contact with our farming customers. Colin Sunderland

Deliveries and Sales Representative

I joined the Gorey team in 2013 delivering predominantly to our agricultural, home heating and commercial customers. My route typically takes me throughout North Wexford including Castletown, Courtown and Ballymoney to Tara Hill up into Inch, Kilinerin, down to Ballygarrett, Ballycanew and back into Gorey. 

I have been in the fuel industry my entire life and I was director and driver of Sunderland Oils, which I owned with my father. I bring an all-encompassing knowledge of fuel distribution to my role with Glen Fuels. Sunderland Oils and Glen Fuels share one key goal - both families place primary emphasis on customer service. Glen Fuels was the perfect fit for me and most of my customers have moved to Glen Fuels where they continue to receive top quality product and excellent customer care, delivered by a familiar face.

Glen Fuels has a long history of giving back to the community with numerous sponsorships and I too am an active member of Castletown GAA, Wexford GAA and Courtown Golf Club.

Philip Redmond

Deliveries and Sales Representative

Previously a highly skilled crane operator I have been delivering oil to farming, domestic, commercial and industrial customers in the greater Gorey area since 2008.

My delivery route takes in Wexford, Wicklow, Carlow, Kildare. Starting from Hollyfort, I head around to Aughrim, Aughavanna and Knockananna and into Hacketstown, Rathangan and Baltinglass before heading back towards Gorey via Tinahely and Shillelagh, Carnew, Askamore and Craanford. 

I'm a rare breed in Glen Fuels as my interest in contact sport is limited. I carry my love of the great outdoors and physical activitiy into my personal life and I spend my evenings working on my garden and restoring old machinery.

James Kinsella

Deliveries and Sales Representative

Since 2006 I have been delivering predominantly to our agricultural, commercial and domestic customers. My route takes me from ​Camolin, Ferns, Bunclody/Kildavin and Clonegal back across to the Harrow and then into ​Boolavogue en route back to Gorey. Deliveries and sales allow me to combine three passions - interacting with people, working with lorries and being out in the fresh air. 

Originally from Greystones, I love providing additional cover at the Kilmacanogue depot and catching up with familiar faces - I started carrying coal and collecting money on weekends at the age of 12 for my family's fuel business, Kinsella Coal.  

An active member of my local community, I was treasurer and parents' representative in Camolin National School and I enjoy kayaking, rowing and sea swimming in Courtown and Greystones. A big music fan, I now play the drums for personal enjoyment.

I joined the Glen Fuels Gorey team in 2018 in the aftermath of Storm Emma and the Beast from the East.

A highly experienced operator, I deliver to the domestic, commercial, marine and agri sectors. My delivery route covers The Harrow, Boolavogue, Monamolin, Ballygarrett, Killenagh, Cahore, Ballycanew and Gorey Town.
